Kansas Affordable Care Act Rates
Kansas has released its Affordable Care Act premium rates for the open enrollment which begins October 1, 2013 and ends on March 31, 2014. The new plans on the Exchange are known as the ACA plans: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.

The following rates are Wichita averages for the Bronze and Silver plans. These premiums also do not include premium subsidies that help with your monthly policy cost. For your specific rate call 800-930-7956.

Kansas Cost-Sharing Subsidies
Besides having premium subsidies to help with your monthly cost, federal cost-sharing subsidies are available if you qualify to help with deductibles, copays, and coinsurance -basically, they help you cover costs when you seek medical care.
